Today was the re-recording of my composition VEGA in the Dutch town of Schinnen, several months after the already very succesful video recording made in cooperation with Adams Brass which can be found here
VEGA will take a prominent place on the upcoming solo-CD of my brother Rodin. Together with the wonderful harpist and my friend Marleen de Bakker and after several weeks of practicing they decided to record a second version. This version has some small additions and corrections based on feedback by the illustrious duo.
The recording will be released as a single on the major streaming services not too long after the summer, eventually to be an integral part of the very promising solo-CD, which will be a kaleidoscopic collection of new and historic euphonium repertoire.
