Helping Ukraine
Hi everyone! Right now, I am in Krakow – Poland to help and transport refugees from the Ukrainian/Polish border further down into Europe, far away from all the violence and horror they have experienced due to the insane and senseless Russian invasion.
I couldn’t stand to watch the news any longer and decided to do something. I knew that there are a lot of refugees in Przemysl, a border town here in Poland, who needed to move elsewhere. So, in a moment of great indignance about the whole situation, I booked a flight to Krakow and rented a car with which I could transport the refugees.
It breaks my heart to see the Ukraine people in such abhorrent conditions, but especially the little children who are only a couple of years old. It feels all the more special to be able to help these people who are in such dire need. If you want to aid my work here, you can join the following fundraiser. All the proceeds go to helping the refugees move about to where they need to go, the rest will be donated to GIRO555.
