From the 1st of September on I am residing in the city center of Vienna. I will be staying in the Austrian capital for a year to work on my composition commissions and to learn more about opera and the musical history of this incredible place.

Already in just a week this city has proven itself to live up to the hype, it is truly a very musical and cultured city. Everywhere you walk you are reminded by the composers of the past and their incredible music.

It is at the same time very inspiring but also highly confronting to be surrounded by such an atmosphere. Al these amazing composers, all that intricate, highly artistic music they wrote… It is quite something to live up to as a young budding, creative human.

This Sunday I will be flying to the south of Turkey to visit the archeological sites of Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe for the upcoming composition, namely: ………..
