This composition is inspired by the Wienerwald—the forested hills encircling Vienna—and the rich cultural legacy they hold. Echoes of Schubert, Beethoven, and Mozart linger in these woods, where they once wandered in search of silence, nature, and musical revelation. The work reimagines these fading footsteps through a soundscape shaped by tape and live electronic processing, with the accordion serving as both an echo of the past and a voice of transformation.
